Bengaluru: With gyms mushrooming all across the city, there is a mad rush to conduct body building competitions. However, most of these body building events are run in shabby, down market and unsatisfactory venues. Hence, in a bid to create the very best competitions by using top quality venues which reflect the efforts of the players, Physical Culture Association (PCA) was launched on Saturday. PCA is an association for bodybuilding and fitness – one that puts the athletes first – which has been formed with the primary goal; the Evolution of Physical Culture. The PCA is one of the world’s leading and the fastest growing Bodybuilding association. PCA will ensure fair judging, provide lot of international opportunities for participants, pro- athlete status and create high value prize funds. As the current system doesn’t work for the welfare of the athletes, PCA brings the unbiased judging and better facilities for the athletes.

TOP QUALITY BODY BUILDING COMPETITIONS

PCA will now launch a series of top quality Bodybuilding competitions across India and will create a platform for players; free from the need to concentrate on anything but the pursuit of bodybuilding. With this, the players will benefit in a big way and PCA will conduct better events, ensure fairer judging, offer better prizes, help in profile raising and a create route to compete internationally in genuine quality events. Speaking at the launch event, Nick Orton (CEO and Founder- Body Power and International Development Executive, PCA) said, “I am excited about the prospect of us launching a series of top quality bodybuilding  competitions in India which will reward the best athletes. I am sure PCA India president Mr Raghunandan will pioneer this movement and we shall be lending our fullest support.”

PCA India will be an important milestone in 2018 for the Association with the honorable Mr. R. Raghunandan being appointed as the President for India. Being a well-respected industry figure in India, Mr. R. Raghunandan is the perfect affiliate to bring onboard for the India expansion. His vision for PCA India and dedication to the development of Indian bodybuilding and fitness industry will take the Association to the next level, and will provide the best platforms for Indian athletes to showcase their talents. The next 5 years will see a rapid expansion of PCA across the country with more competitions and bigger prizes being rewarded to the Indian athletes. With its global affiliate network the Indian athletes will also gain access and be able to compete in various international competitions. “The PCA evolves as physical culture evolves. We will continually move forward, innovate and improve at the forefront of the bodybuilding and fitness industry,” said PCA India president Raghunandan.

PCA was formed in the UK by high profile gym owners Ryan Alexander and Warren Dyson; passionate about creating a federation for bodybuilders which recognized talent fairly and without bias. PCA has expanded rapidly across the globe and now offers players a network of top quality competitions right across the globe from South Africa, USA, and Australia to South Korea, China, main land Europe.
