Bengaluru, September 2026: Geneva-based All Here, a research organisation exploring the intersection of meditation, science and technology, is bringing its work on Quantified Meditation to Bengaluru this September. Founded by Erkin Bek, All Here uses scientific tools and technology to observe, measure and visualise aspects of brain activity during meditation.

Through a five-day immersive programme at S-VYASA Deemed to be University, the initiative will bring together meditation practice and scientific exploration. Powered by All Here, the World Meditation League (WML) is a platform advancing meditation as a discipline, sport and art through challenges, performances and public events.

At the centre of the programme is Quantified Meditation. Using advanced neuroimaging technologies, including EEG and Brain-Computer Interfaces, All Here records, measures and visualises aspects of brain activity during meditation. The technology examines metrics linked to aention, mind-wandering and mental silence, allowing an experience traditionally understood through how silent or focused someone feels to also be explored through an objective and measurable lens.

What began as a scientific journey in Geneva has since grown internationally, and has since travelled across Tokyo and Kamakura in Japan, San Francisco and Los Angeles in the US, Buddhist Forest Tradition in Thailand, Tibetan Monasteries in India, Germany and France. The journey has brought meditation practice into conversation with neuroscience and technology, while exploring how an internal experience can be made more observable and measurable.

Bek has spent more than two decades exploring meditation across traditions including Raja Yoga, Tai Chi and Zen Buddhism. His wider vision is to professionalise meditation as a mainstream occupation, influence the conversation around meditation through a more objective and scientific perspective, and celebrate what it means to be human while advancing human potential.

The Silent Mind Meditation Residency, taking place from 25 to 28 September 2026, will combine advanced meditation practice with the science of meditation, metrics associated with meditation, and the science and technology developed by All Here to observe what happens in the brain during practice. What makes the programme distinctive is this combination of traditional meditation practice with Quantified Meditation, giving participants an opportunity to explore meditation both as an internal experience and through measurable aspects of brain activity.

The residency will be followed by a public Quantified Meditation Demonstration on 29 September 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at S-VYASA, where meditation activity will be recorded and visualised using All Here’s technology. The Bengaluru programme also builds on All Here and S-VYASA’s collaboration since 2023 on research into meditation and advanced states of consciousness, bringing the scientific journey back to one of the places where its work in India first took shape.
