Shree Mahavir Jain hospital sets up an Oxygen plant at the hospital in association with Torrent Power Ltd.

Mumbai: Amid a severe shortage of oxygen for Covid-19 patients as the country grapples with the second wave of the pandemic, Shree Mahavir Jain hospital has installed an oxygen plant in the hospital premises.  During the tough times, Torrent Power Ltd donated the 10nm3/hr capacity Oxygen plant and fifteen oxygen cylinders to help and prepare for a possible third wave of Covid.

Speaking on the same Mr. Mahendra Jain, Managing trustee, SMJH , ” During the Second wave of Covid 19 a lot of patients in India scrambled to death due to lack of oxygen supply. We at Shree Mahavir Jain Hospital are pleased to announce that we have installed an Oxygen plant in our hospital. This initiative will ensure that we will not have more fatalities due to oxygen shortage and also help us prepare for any future health crisis. We hope this will help in strengthening the efforts in providing quality and timely medical service to the needy people during these testing times.” “
