Shalby Multispecialty Hospitals commences pre-registration for Covid Vaccination for Children at all its 11 hospitals. The focus will be to conduct the vaccination for children and prevent severe illnesses as well as mild diseases among them.
Mumbai, November 4, 2021: Shalby Multispecialty Hospitals, one of India’s leading multi-specialty hospital chains has begun preregistration for Covid Vaccination for Children. These pre registrations are being conducted at all its 11 hospitals located across the country, with 4 hospitals in Ahmedabad (SG Highway, Krishna Shalby at Ghuma, Shalby Naroda, and Vijay Shalby) and one in each in Mumbai, Jaipur, Indore, Surat, Vapi, and Mohali.
Preregistrations for children are being focused even as talks with schools and other relevant organizations and associations are underway by Shalby to build tie-ups and facilitate mass vaccinations. By way of preregistrations, Shalby is gearing up to provide a smooth vaccination process as soon as the Government signals approval for child vaccinations. It will administer all vaccines approved by the government as per government protocol and directives. The preregistrations are aimed at registering both healthy children and those with comorbidities, however, priority will be given to the later in the roll out of the vaccines as they have a higher chance of severe illness. Hence, the focus will be to conduct the vaccination for children and prevent severe illnesses as well as mild diseases among them.
According to Dr. Nishita Shukla, Group COO of Shalby Hospitals, “India is one of the most populous countries in the world, our children deserve to step out and experience the freedom they have been deprived during the past one and a half year. With our adult vaccination number having crossed 100 crores, we believe it is high time that our children get vaccinated as their outdoor travel and activities will only increase in the coming months. We are fully prepared for this and have started preregistration so that maximum number of parents can register their children for vaccination. Post Government approvals, we will be able to provide vaccines to children and help cover the overall vaccination numbers at the earliest.”

These preregistrations will serve as the first step to helping the children receive their Covid Vaccine after government approvals and directives. Shalby Hospitals will procure and administer all the approved vaccines while adhering to all Government protocols and directives.
