ManoYoga – Powerful tool to relax our conscious mind.

ManoYoga is a powerful tool to relax our conscious mind, work with the subconscious (collection of past memories and experiences) and allow us to access the actual reason of the current challenges. It asserts in treating the root cause of the problem rather than the symptoms.

 As explained in Amritabindu Upanishad – Verse 2, mind is the reason behind all our sufferings and freedom. Mind attached to objects is the cause of bondage, enslavement, restriction, limitation and sorrow. The mind which is devoid of desire or detached from them is considered to be liberated, free or in bliss. If we can understand and work with this mind, we can experience its amazing world and reap its benefits in terms of health, happiness and peace.

As the great Master Swami Rama Says:
My mind does not create a problem for you.
Your mind doesn’t create a problem for me.
Your mind creates a problem for yourself.
As is the mind, so is the individual.

As defined in our Vedic literature’s, Mind is a part of the subtle body which is very powerful. It is our instrument of perception. All the distinctions of big and small, high and low, inferior and superior, good and bad, dark and bright, truth and false are only found as long as there is mind. The concept of mind is large, broad, strong, gigantic, a great principle, illuminating, a greater intelligence, luminosity. The distinguishing factor between a man from a mere animal is the mind (mana), the mental faculty which makes a man an intelligent and a moral being.

Of all the existences one of the most mysterious is said to be the mind because of its nature of non-perception. It cannot be perceived with our available senses; mind does not have a form of its own. The structure of the mind is affected by what we see (roopa), taste (rasa), smell (gandha), hear (shabdha) or feel (sparsha), basically the senses are the power tools to input data to the mind.

Mind is very much our property as are our limbs.  It is a web-hub of data, information’s which the sense organs (components of the physical body) gather through their contact with the external world objects.  Mind is a form of energy; it is invisible and non-physical. The mind is a source of our thoughts, emotions, imagination, memory, etc. It is a medium as well, where all cognitive faculties express. The mind is a faculty of Consciousness, and everything exists in our consciousness.

Each and every piece of information that passes through the medium of mind leaves its imprints known as samskaras (impressions) that are ignited from Chitta (store-house), rises Smriti (memories) which is reflected as Vasana (tendency) that creates Vritti (thought) which penetrates through Klesha (burdens – avidya-asmita-raga-dvesa-abhinivesah) and brings about action (karma) with the Phala(result) which once again goes back to Chitta. When Mind is filled with Klesha, it again creates Karma as the cycles of experiences continue. To break this cycle, we need to work on healing and cleansing memories.

The state of health of the physical body is affected by the state, or structure of the mind, as our nervous system is the physical extension of our mind into our body. This mind-body connection is the reason for the derivation of the terms like mental health, or mental health problems and the body is actually thought to be the 3D projection of the mind in space.

 Yoga is a spiritual discipline in the history of Indian philosophy which is about several thousand years old. Its purpose is being able to unleash, uncover, exhibit the spiritual and mental powers of an individual. It is considered to be an evolutionary and universal science. The practical and philosophical aspects of our life are dealt in yoga.

Maharishi Patanjali explains that yoga is a process that keeps the mind (chitta) away from fluctuations (vrttis), restraining the chitta (mind-stuff / store house) from taking various forms called vrttis, stilling the fluctuations of the mind (ego, attachments, desires, aversions, ignorance, negative aspects of mind), neutralizes the whirlpools of feeling, a state where the mind (chitta) ceases to exist (samadhi).

The sutra further explains that blocking of the patterns arising in all the dimensions of consciousness, shutting our self-off from the external experiences which we face every morning and evening, setting aside the vision we have in deep meditation and higher samadhi is yoga. The state of yoga manifests, when the experiences of individual awareness arising in different dimensions are transcended.

According to The Bhagavad Gita, yoga is defined as
समत्वं योग उच्यते ||
Samatvam yoga uchyate ||

The sutra states that equanimity is yoga – a state of both physical equilibrium and mental equanimity, a state of harmony where the body’s physiological functions are maintained and the mind remains in control, does not react overly to aversion or desire.

ManoYoga is a part of our Ancient Yogic Science. ManoYoga deals with the MIND. It portraits the essence to create equanimity, develop a perfect balance and synchronicity between the states of Consciousness (Jagruth, Swapna, Sushupti, Turiya). This leads us to experience ultimate bliss.

ManoYoga is a powerful tool to relax our conscious mind, work with the subconscious (collection of past memories and experiences) and allow us to access the actual reason of the current challenges. It asserts in treating the root cause of the problem rather than the symptoms.

pratiprasava

ManoYoga is a combination of ancient Yogic concepts of Yoga Nidra Therapy, Sammohana Therapy (Holistic Hypnotherapy) and Pratiprasava, given by Mahararishi Patanjali which in modern science, is addressed as ‘Regression Therapy’.

ManoYoga helps to retrieve, release the unpleasant memories of the past by re-experiencing and re-living those instances in the subconscious level to cleanse and heal the unanswered, undesirable Experiences-Events-Situations and Emotional blockages.

ManoYoga helps to transmute the ignorance to realisation of the experience with elevated knowledge that resonates into our present life.

ManoYoga is a powerful alternative healing modality to heal traumas, negative beliefs, negative emotions that are in the subconscious as deep-rooted repressed memories creating blockages in one’s life.

ManoYoga also helps to transform undesirable behaviour, realign-redesign-reframe-reprogram the thoughts, change the perception of mind, give clarity to reclaim our life and lead to create a positive effect on Body-Mind-Emotion towards attracting radiant health and a successful, relaxed, creative, happy life. ManoYoga is thus a route to understand the functions, synchronicity and influences of our MIND and unify our Astitva. This wisdom will help one to achieve a balanced Life.
