The important causes of menstrual irregularities are due to hormonal imbalance, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), obesity, fibroids, polyps, infections, cancer and medications. Out of which obesity reports more than the other causes. All these problems lead to hormonal changes leading to uterine inner lining and the muscle layer problems.

In hysteroscopy, high definition camera is inserted in to the uterine cavity which helps to pick up the inner lining problem like polyps, inner lining fibroids etc, without cutting the abdomen and also helps to treat at the same sitting.
