Herbal tea health benefits are many and can be considered as a herbal medicine.
Ingredients:
1. To a pan or vessel add water tea power, cardamom, Ginger,mint leaves, basil leaves and sugar.
2. Boil for 8-10 minutes.
3. Add milk and simmer for 3 to 4 mintues.
4. Strain the tea into cup using a strainer.
5. Serve hot in an insulated tumbler..
Tulsi Herbal tea:
Ingredients:
1. ½ cup tulsi (Indian basil) leaves .
2. ¼ cup mint leaves (Phudina).
3. 1 tbsp roughly chopped ginger (Adeale).
4. 2 tbsp honey.
Method of preparation:
1. Combine the tulsi leaves, mint and ginger in a mixer and blend to a coarse paste using very little water.
2. Transfer a the paste into a non –stick saucepan, add 1 ½ cups of water, mix well and boil for 5 to 7 minutes while stirring occasionally.
3. Strain the mixture using honey and mix well.
4. Serve immediately.
