Amrutha balli – A holy herb. Amrutha balli has the power to prevent and heal many diseases. It is called ‘Rasayanee’ in Ayurveda
After the battle of Rama and Ravana, Devendra sprinkled amrutha to revive the dead monkeys. This herb born from a few drops of nectar that fell on the earth. In fact, I don’t know the reality of the story.
But if you look at the properties of Amrutha balli, you will feel that it is a gift of God. It is an amazing ancient herb with incredible medicinal values and health benefits. Diabetes, asthma, cough, urinary diseases, heart disease, rheumatism, fever, worms, jaundice, anemia, skin problems, dysentery, acidity, dysentery, fire, hemorrhoids, breast milk problem, if there is a problem in the baby, if there is a wound that does not heal – Amrutha balli has the power to prevent and heal many diseases. It is a panacea for almost all types of fever.
There is a scientific reason behind it. It flushes out toxins from the body; Kills bad bacteria, viruses. Antiviral properties are also very strong. It has been proved in thousands of recent studies that it fights almost all viruses from AIDS virus to Dengue virus. It is an anti-aging antioxidant, anti-microbial, anti-toxic, anti-diabetic, anti-cancer, anti-stress, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic herb.
Its specialty is that it doesn’t just kill the virus once it enters our body; If consumed before the virus attacks our body, it also gives the body the power to fight against any viruses. It is called ‘Rasayanee’ in Ayurveda due to its ability to increase immunity.
But two things should be kept in mind while consuming it.
You would have heard a saying “Atiyādare amr̥tavū viṣa”, so if you consume amrutha balli excessively it can also cause problems. Due to its heat nature, excessive consumption can cause problems like mouth ulcers, fatigue, constipation.
Another thing is to make sure that what we are consuming is really nectar. Because when chikungunya was severe, other wines was also sold as amrutha balli.
The main characteristic of amrutha balli is that it looks like a wheel when it is cut. If you cannot find, then it’s not amrutha balli. A small amount can be consumed daily by everyone. Especially those who have the above-mentioned problems, those who want to increase immunity should consume it more often. Otherwise, use it once a week. This helps to remove toxin from our body and keeps us healthy.
How to consume?
Take a piece of amrutha balli (about 3 – 4 grams) half the length of the little finger, add some ginger, coriander and cumin seeds to it, add 4 glasses of water and reduce it to a glass on a low flame and drink it on an empty stomach. If your body heat increases, use only one to two grams of amrutha balli.
