Mysuru: 28th October 2018, was the first death anniversary of, state and National level physically challenged sportsman of Mysore -N.R Ashwin, who had participated in hundreds of volleyball and cricket matches organised by All India cricket Association of Deaf and Deaf cricket academy of Karnataka, Family care Coimbatore. On this occasion a book entitled Twinkling Star Ashwin, written by N.V Ramesh was released, in Saint Mathai’s High School Mysore.
A Hemaganga Kannada poetess and culture promoter, exclaimed, “Only those who have pain and sorrow, flourish into an ideal personality, when they struggle hard with their sincere effort for the welfare of disabled and handicapped 24×7, such was the life of Ashwin and his parents, who are really heroes”.
Author of this book and father of Ashwin, N.V. Ramesh elucidated the life, full of pain- struggles and efforts of a family, in rehabilitating a son with hearing loss in both ears, and efforts of that son, who later shined like that sun, who gave light to many handicapped 24×7. S. Venkatakrishnaiah retired Assostant Director Department for welfare of handicapped described “growth of Ashwin’s life as, drops of water which later became an ocean.”
