Mom’s Belief, South-Asia’s largest holistic care provider for children with developmental needs in collaboration with Dr. Temple Grandin, who is well known for remarkable work as a spokesperson for people with autism. She conducted a webinar on “The importance of early educational intervention and addressing the mental health of young children.” The webinar discussed how neurodevelopmental disorders like Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Learning Disability, Cerebral Palsy (CP), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The major focus was put to educate parents on how to identify their child’s behavior/problems and how the parents can become their guide by taking the right measure.
Dr. Temple Grandin was the first individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to record her experiences in a way that gave the rest of the world an insight into the world of Autism. Temple’s life work has been to understand her own autistic mind, and to share that knowledge with the world, aiding in the treatment of individuals with the condition. Dr. Grandin has been with Colorado State University (CSU) for over 25 years. Grandin has been referred to as the “most famous person working at CSU” and she is one of the most respected experts in both autism in the world. Some of her books are “Thinking in Pictures” published in 1995 and “The Autistic Brain: Thinking Across The Spectrum” published in 2013. She has been an advocate for early intervention for autistic children to channel autistic fixations towards more fruitful paths. As a prominent public figure with ASD, she has been able to sensitize our society towards those with neuro-development issues.
