Mumbai, 26^thJanuary 2021: The World Health Parliament organised by MIT World Peace University recently hosted their virtual conference from 21^st to 24^th January 2021. The event was themed on ‘Pioneering Disruptive Reforms in Healthcare ecosystem in India’.

In his presentation on 22^nd January, Dr. Gautam Sen, Chairman and Founder of Healthspring highlighted the good deeds and praised the spirit of healthcare workers amidst the pandemic. He also applauded the government’s efforts towards the virus and shared his expectations on the disruptive changes in curriculum for potential talent in medicine.

Speaking about the event, Dr. Gautam Sen, Chairman and Founder of Healthspring said, “It was an absolute honour to be a part of the latest dialogue at World Health Parliament to address the present situation. COVID-19 has reinforced the global necessity for access to healthcare. While the Government and medical professionals continue to fight the battle and tackle this great challenge, the focus lies on the next steps to ensure and stay prepared in case of such emergencies.”

As a result of the conference, several perspectives and reforms were highlighted. The eminent speakers included Dr. Vasant Nagvekar, Department of Physician Internal Medicine, Infectious diseases, Padma Bhushan Dr. Devi Shetty, Chairman and Founder Narayana Health, Dr. Paras Kothari, Professor and Head LTMG Hospital, Prof. Dr. J. A. Jayalal, National President of Indian Medical Association, Dr. S P Kalantri, Director at MGIMS.
