Devendra Triguna. </strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Padma Bhushan Vd. Devendra Triguna</strong> <strong>President of AMAM, All India Ayurvedic Congress and Ayurveda Mahasammelan </strong>stressed building immunity through these rasayanas and following the basic guidelines of wearing masks, washing hands, and maintaining social distancing could help everyone to fight against the ongoing pandemic. He urged that the <strong>key player companies in the field of Ayurveda should come forward and work together on producing a spray with dhoopam samagri, which could be fumigated in the air that could help to fight against the COVID-19.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Dr. Deepika Gunawant</strong> Ayurveda Consultant Max Hospital deliberated about the concept of <strong>Rasayana- Immunomodulators</strong> and how these could help in building the immunity. She talked about the Ayurveda system and how natural remedies could play an important role in enhancing immunity. She cited examples of natural remedies like ashwagandha, giloy, Guduchi, Chyawanprash, and Immunity booster kit from<strong> Multani Pharmaceuticals</strong>, which could help in enhancing the Immunity. She discussed the benefits of home spices like turmeric, ginger, tulsi that help in enhancing immunity.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Dr. Akhilesh Sharma Former Advisor (Ayurveda) Govt. of Delhi;</strong> explained the four pillars of Ayurveda. Dr. Sharma shared how these Immunomodulators could help enhance Immunity and fight against any viruses. <strong>Dr. Ritu Sethi,</strong> <strong>Senior Consultant, Holy Family Hospital</strong> shared the basic concept of Ayurveda and how one could take care of one’s health during these challenging COVID times. Dr. Sethi also talked about the Rasayana Immunomodulators and how these could be aiding in bringing up the Immunity. She also talked about the aspect of Holistic Health and preventive care of aging.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Dr. Manoj Kumar Dash, Asst. Professor, Govt. of Ayurveda College, Raipur</strong> gave an insightful presentation about the <a href="https://healthvision.in/ayurvedic-rasayanas-to-battle-against-covid-19/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><strong>role of</strong> <strong>Rasayanas and how it could help build the Immunity.</strong></a> While talking about the concept of Adaptive and Innate immunity and their significant role, he threw light on Target immune cells functions and about low respiratory infection, which is caused by the corona virus.</p>

Mr. Multani said the demand for herbal products is increasing each passing day as the entire world has seen how certain traditional Indian ingredients and homemade products have benefited mankind and how these <strong>Immunomodulators could play a very pivotal role in enhancing the immunity to fight against the ongoing pandemic.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">He also mentioned that Immunomodulators are considered as one of the most potent tools in the management of health and disease by modern medicine. He said the role of immunomodulators in modern medicine is yet to be fully appreciated or perceived as our understanding of the immune system is changing at a rapid pace. <strong>Dr. R. K. Somany, Former President, PHD Chamber</strong> thanked all the panelists and delegates for joining the webinar and also thanked PHD Chamber for organizing the webinar on the AYUSH system.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Mr. Arvind Varchaswi, Chairman, AYUSH Committee</strong> talked about the role of Rasayana-Immunomodulators and how the <strong>Ayurveda system could be very beneficial in enhancing the overall Immunity during these challenging times.</strong> He also talked about a 4000 crores economic package that the Government of India has announced for promoting herbal cultivation that will further boost the growth of the Ayurveda.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Dr. Subramanian,</strong> Chairman, Health Committee &amp; Director, Medical Services, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals  in his welcome address said that the current pandemic has been very stressful and has put a massive pressure on entire health care system. He said the corona virus disease has hit us very strongly and therefore identification, isolation &amp; testing have become important mechanism to reduce the transmission. The remote identifying platforms can help in identifying and assessing the patient’s population. Enabling the pre assessments and care protocols could help reduce the risk of exposure for both patients and their care team, and potentially slow the spread of the COVID-19 disease by decreasing the number of unnecessary hospital visits or in-person consultations. He further added that the <strong>Telemedicine concept have been accelerated during these COVID period playing an important role in providing consultation</strong> to the patients without vising to the Hospital and could especially be useful for the elderly people at home.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Mr. Prem Sharma</strong>, <strong>Founder &amp; CEO, DayToDay Health</strong>,  said that today tracing, managing, and monitoring of COVID patients has become the centerfold solution of heading towards a COVID free society. <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><img decoding="async" class=" wp-image-9494 alignright" src="https://healthvision.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Auyurveda-and-covid-300x150.jpeg" alt="Auyurveda-and-covid.j" width="382" height="191" />New Delhi July 2,2020:</strong> PHD Chamber of Commerce &amp; Industry, AYUSH Committee organized an Interactive Webinar on <strong>Ayurvedic Wisdom for Global Health During Covid-19 Period</strong> recently.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>PadmabhushanVd. Triguna Ji, </strong>President, All India Ayurvedic Congress (AIAC) and AMAM said that Hon&#8217;ble PM had said that we should focus on Ayurvedic products which are available across the globe and based on which the <strong>immunity building advisories were released by the Ministry of AYUSH</strong>. He added that this pandemic has taught us various aspects of life and how to tackle the same.  He said there’s a need to invent new and good quality of products, which could help us in fighting with COVID-19 situation. Trigunaji also requested everyone to come forward in promoting the Ayurvedic system globally.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Dr. Manoj Nesari,</strong> Advisor, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India shared his various thoughts and shared the details of advisory issued by the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. Dr. Nesari said recently the AYUSH Sector was considered in essential services.  This shows the significance of the entire AYUSH system which could be integrated in public health delivery. He also urged various industries to come forward and work in innovation of medicines like medicine for carrying oxygen capacity which will be a revolution and the AYUSH system will able to showcase its strengths. He also said the<strong> Industry should come forward in establishing Ayurvedic colleges overseas, e.g., in Russia, United States, where there’s a huge demand of Yoga and Ayurveda.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr. Nesari further said that there’s a need for Research and development, which will play an essential role to take the entire AYUSH system ahead globally. He said the Ministry of AYUSH has taken various steps in tackling COIV-19 problem and many advisories in this regard were issued.</p>

Mr. Multani further added that crisis like outbreak of corona virus provides an opportunity to revisit the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda for <span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong><a style="color: #0000ff;" href="https://healthvision.in/ayurvedic-diet-herbs-lifestyle-for-a-better-healthy-future/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">prevention of diseases through improved immunity</a></strong></span> and combine it with western science for a holistic healthy living. This is the right time. When there&#8217;s a high consciousness in society about healthy living and prevention, it is a good time for us to go back to our roots and focus on our strengths and combine it with efficacy and science.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>While giving the industrial remarks, Mr. Arvind Varchaswi, </strong>Chairman, <span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong><a style="color: #0000ff;" href="https://www.phdcci.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">AYUSH Committee, PHD Chamber</a> </strong></span>mentioned about the importance of AYUSH system and how the system has played a significant role in various ways. He said the entire AYUSH system have given important during last few years. Mr. Varchaswi gave a detail of Ayurvedic market scenario and the <strong>growth rate of almost 16.04% CAGR globally.</strong> He said there’s a time to ramp up and bring in new technology and research in development of entire AYUSH system. He also requested Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India to assist the industry and promote the AYUSH system across the world.</p>
