 This initiative is to extend support to the government efforts to maintain social distance for Covid-19  and offer services to patients staying at home. Hyderabad March 7, 2020: Hyderabad-based Maxi Vision Super Specialty Eye Hospitals will conduct free eye checkups to all women on Saturday 7 & Sunday 8th march on account of international women’s day. International women’s day is observed every year on 8^th March.  MaxiVision initiative is as part of its social responsibility to the society to extend its support to women’s day for the creation of mass awareness on “each for equal” theme.

Speaking on the occasion Mr.Sudheer  COO Maxi vision super specialty eye hospitals, said there are many eye problems that are reversible and irreversible leading to vision loss and women are more likely to develop eye diseases related to aging, such as age-related macular degeneration, dry eyes, etc. They are susceptible to have untreated refractive errors, including near-sightedness (or myopia), far-sightedness (or hyperopia), and astigmatism. Free eye check-ups will help identify the problem to rectify it in early stage, he said.
