3^rd January 2021, Mumbai: JITO (Jain International Trade Organization) Mumbai Zone & Thane Chapter in support with Shree Mahavir Jain Hospital (SMJH) are pleased to announce a Cardiac Wellness Drive namely ‘DilAapka, Khayal Humara’. JITO Mumbai Zone & Thane Chapter believe that access to affordable healthcare is a basic necessity.

‘Dil Aapka, Khayal Humara’ is an initiative towards making healthcare affordable whereby JITO Mumbai Zone & Thane Chapter have offered special rates for cardiac surgeries by bearing partial costs of the surgeries. The initiative was launched at Shree Mahavir Jain Hospital on 3rd January 2021 and aims to undertake 108 Cardiac Surgeries on first come first serve basis. The initiative includes Bypass surgery, Angioplasty, and Angiography. All surgeries will be performed by experts and experienced cardiac surgeons of SMJH Hospital.

While launching the initiative Mr. Mahendra Jain, Chairman, JITO Thane Chapter said, “Increasing competition, stress, and erratic lifestyle these days have taken a toll on our lives, putting our heart at risk. We are happy to announce this one-of-a-kind initiative during these stressful times at nominal costs and we hope to continue providing such services to the society”.

Speaking on the same Mr. Ajay Ashar (ManagingTrustee) of Shree Mahavir Jain Hospital& Shri Pratap J. Ashar Cardiac Centre said, “DilAapka, Khayal Humara initiative will not only help people get affordable and best healthcare services but will also encourage others to come forward for such an initiative.  Following surgeries will be undertaken under ‘Dil Aapka, Khayal Humara’ initiative:

• Bypass Surgery – Rs. 90,000*
• Angioplasty – Rs. 70,000*
• Angiography – Rs. 7,500*
