Pharma Professional League: 3rd Edition – ‘The third edition of Pharma Professional League ( PPL) got to a flying start on January 21st, Sunday at the Veterinary College Ground, Hebbal, Bengaluru.
PPL is an inter-pharma cricket tournament started in 2016 and is organised by Cornucopia, an HR consulting firm with large base of pharma companies.
Eighteen large Bangalore-based companies are participating in this year’s tournament.
It was launched by its patron, Padma Shri Syed Kirmani with an exhibition match between of Karnataka Women’s Cricket team, comprising of former and few current state players, and team captains of the participating teams. Sadiq Kirmani, the upcoming KPL player also graced the occasion.
The tournament is played on a league basis with ‘knock outs’ from semi- finals on wards and the finals will be held on Sunday February 11, 2018.
Pharma Professional League: 3rd Edition- PPL Chairman, Ahmedali said that PPL is a platform for the pharma companies to meet and network for the betterment of the industry. And added that the intention is to make it bigger and better in the future years.’
