IEM Awareness program from PRISTINE

The World Rare Disease Day is an annual observance held on the last day of February to raise awareness for rare diseases and improve access to treatments and management for individuals with rare diseases and their families. One such rare genetic disease is Inborn Errors of Metabolism. In India, the prevalence of Inborn Errors of Metabolism is 1 in 2497 newborns.

On the occasion of 11th annual World Rare Disease Day  on February 28, 2018, Pristine Organics is organizing an awareness program for ‘Inborn Errors of Metabolism in India’ at The Chancery Hotel, Lavelle Road at 3:30PM.

This program aims at spreading awareness of the management of Inborn Errors of Metabolism through nutritional supplementation and a natural diet.

Pristine Organics cater to 500+ IEM patients for a decade. India’s Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has selected five companies, of which Pristine is the ONLY Indian company, to address this IEM issue.

Mr. K.C. Raghu, Founder & MD, Pristine Organics, Dr. Meenakshi Bhat, Consultant in Clinical Genetics & Professor – Centre for Human Genetics, patients, families, dietitians, researchers and health care providers will be present to raise Inborn Errors of Metabolism awareness on this special day.
