Switch to filtered water for a safe health

Switch to filtered water for a safe health. Seventeen days ahead of typical onset date, the whole country had a good monsoon this year. In Kerala, Monsoon started on May 29th, which is 3 days ahead of onset date. In most parts of India heavy rains lashed. Onset of Monsoons bringing more than just relief and the much awaited drizzle brought down the plummeted temperature. Now even cooling off by consuming copious amounts of water may not be such a good idea.

Water resources are at high risks of getting contaminated due to rains and almost 70% of samples collected from different parts of Delhi that were tested by MCD a few years ago were found to be impure. “At least 20% of Delhi people are not getting drinkable water by Indian standards,” former chairman of MCD’s public health committee, Dr. VK Monga, says.

Water being the principal component of all bodily fluids, making sure that the water resources being consumed is not contaminated becomes highly significant. In fact, water is a part of nearly every function in the body, including those on the cellular, tissue, and organ levels, as well as in circulation, digestion, and elimination, therefore it should be “properly filtered” using a mechanism that enhances the properties of water.

People tend to overlook the fact that even tap water get contaminated during rainfall, as water seeps into it and simply boiling it is not sufficient as many of the dissolved impurities still exist. Many studies also show that, boiling ends up eliminating the necessary minerals as well.

In 2014 the World Health Organization (WHO) has reported,  8,42,000 deaths per year from waterborne diseases. These deaths could have been prevented and even in the coming future we can take the necessary precautions by switching to water purifiers that offer clean- drinking filtered water.

Onset of Monsoons

The Delhi Jal Board supplies drinking water in Delhi-NCR through its pipes and water tankers. According to reports water quality deteriorates during the pre-monsoon and monsoon period. This season becomes a stronghold for many water-borne disease like malaria, cholera, jaundice and gastro-intestinal diseases and creates high risks of getting affected, if the water is not filtered.  Skin conditions, asthma and arthritis also get aggravated because of excess humidity.

Therefore to consume safe drinking water one should focus on the significance of water purifiers, as they filtrate water maintaining its high mineral value.

There are n-number of water purifiers in the market, but one with Reverse Osmosis (RO) system that offers a multi-stage filtration of water by combining sediment, active carbon, UV/UF is what everyone should look for in order to achieve complete purification of raw water.

An RO water purifier not only removes the solid impurities but even improves the taste of water, thus offering 100 percent safe water for consumption.

Now there are purifiers in the market that are equipped with advanced commercial water purifier with futuristic purification technology with combination of RO+UV+UF+TDS which removes even the miniscule dissolved impurities.

Dr. Mahesh Gupta, water expert“The water filtration system eliminates the in consumable things often found in tap water. Water filtration can remove microscopic chemicals and debris that can be found in ordinary tap water. It can also eliminate many of the smells and organic products found in well water” says Dr. Mahesh Gupta, water expert.

Also keeping in the mind how water resources are depleting and are now being treasured, thus there are water purifiers in the market that offers 0% wastage as the balance rejected water is stored in a separate ‘Reject Water Tank’, which can be utilised by consumers for household purposes.

As the popular saying goes, prevention is better than cure; thus this monsoon season we need to make sure that clean drinking water forms the essential part of our system. En route to a safe health by investing in a water purifier that emphasizes on delivering high quality drinking water.
